Sustainability Policy

Scope

• This policy is applicable to all Elgin International employees, as well as our offices and manufacturing sites.
• We expect our suppliers and contractors to comply with applicable environmental and social standards.
• We ensure all employees are kept up to date with our policies and aim to review and improve our policies regularly to improve our environmental and social performance and create a more sustainable future.

Environmental

• We minimise the use of resources throughout design, manufacturing and installation. This includes but is not limited to: energy, water and materials.
• We minimise generation of waste through the reuse of stand materials where practicable, and through the implementation of appropriate recycling systems in our offices and manufacturing sites.
• When sourcing materials, we consider their environmental impact and, where appropriate, prioritise materials that are renewable, responsibly sourced, recycled, recyclable, reusable or have a lower environmental impact.
• We consider the environmental impact of our stands throughout their lifecycle: design → manufacture → transportation → installation → dismantling → reuse/recycling/disposal.

Social

• We are committed to making a positive contribution to our communities through employee volunteering, charitable donations and other appropriate initiatives. 
• We are committed to ethical business practices and fair labour standards. We respect human rights and provide a safe and respectful working environment for our employees, suppliers and contractors.

Legal Compliance

• Elgin International complies with applicable environmental, social, health and safety laws, regulations and requirements in the countries in which we operate. We ensure our teams have appropriate knowledge of the requirements relevant to their roles and responsibilities.
